Role: Brand Partner Manager (Account Manager)


Reports directly to:  Lead BPM


Directly oversees:  No direct reports to oversee.


Job Overview:


The focus is to ensure the needs and initiatives of all brand partners are met and exceeded. The BPM is responsible for all communication between Basemakers and the brand partner, specializing in customer service, problem-solving and driving customer satisfaction. The role is also responsible for identifying and selling in expansion opportunities for each brand partner within the portfolio. 


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Directly oversees all communication to brand partners.
  • Actively upsell expansion opportunities to grow brands and Basemakers business; focus on expanding the coverage for every brand partner in your portfolio while simultaneously focusing on brand retention and longevity of the Basemakers partnership.
  • Initiate monthly reviews/reports/win-sheets/calls/win-decks with brand partners.
  • Weekly/Bi-weekly phone or video check-ins with brands.
  • Onboard new brand partners and set them up for a successful partnership with the Basemakers team.
  • Facilitate a smooth line of communication between the Brand Partner and the Basemakers field team; identifying and troubleshooting any brand issues as they arise
  • Clearly communicate the needs of the brands to the Basemakers team as well as the needs of the Basemakers team to the brands.
  • Basemakers team Go-to for all brand-specific questions (besides the brands themselves).
  • Consistent in-person meetings with bigger brands when required.
  • Develop creative incentive ideas to successfully boost win success for brands.


What we are looking for in you:


  • 1-3 years’ experience in proven account management, in CPG advantageous.
  • Strong written, listening, and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented 
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership as well as a deep pride and desire to exceed goals
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to have tough conversations
  • Evidence of confidence, curiosity, creativity, coachability, optimism, initiative, and flexibility
  • Previous experience in Field Sales preferred
  • Experience in using Google Suite and Office products
  • Preferred experience in using platforms such as Slack, Repsly, and Salesforce
